Sound on Sound fest's Globe Stage will feature comedy, podcast tapings & more

The 2016 Sound on Sound fest (aka the new Fun Fun Fun Fest) runs from November 4 – 6 in McDale, TX which is just outside of Austin, with a killer lineup that includes Run the Jewels, Beach House, Guided by Voices, Explosions in the Sky, Courtney Barnett, Mac DeMarco, Big Boi, Descenedents, Young Thug and loads more.

Sound on Sound also recently announced the Globe Stage, which will be home to fest’s comedy acts, panels, artist Q&A sessions, podcast tapings, and other non-traditional festival acts. Comedians on the Globe Stage include Tim Heidecker, Joe Mande, Todd Barry, Johnny Pemberton, Ever Mainard, The New Movement Theater, Altercation Punk Comedy Hour, Fragile Rock, Laugh, Dammit!, and Greetings, From Queer Mountain. There will also be a taping of Fucked Up frontman Damian Abraham‘s “Turned Out a Punk” podcast, a taping of popular Anthony Fantano’s The Needle Drop, and Pussy Riot‘s Maria Alyokhina and Alexandra Lukyanova will screen an extended trailer of upcoming documentary Act and Punishment.
