Soundgarden playing 'Superunknown' at Webster Hall for $19.94 before tour with Nine Inch Nails (updated dates)

1994 day continues! We just mentioned the Offspring Smash 20th anniversary tour, and now comes word that another major alt-rock record, Soundgarden‘s Superunknown will celebrate its 20th anniversary in NYC on June 2 at Webster Hall. The band will perform the album in full, like they did at SXSW earlier this year. Tickets go on sale May 21 at 10 AM to Citi cardmembers. They’re priced at $19.94 (get it?!) and will be available at citiprivatepass.com.

This show is ahead of Soundgarden’s co-headlining tour with Nine Inch Nails (whose 1994 album, The Downward Spiral, came out the same day as Superunknown). As discussed, that tour hits the NYC-area on 7/30 at Susquehanna Bank Center, 8/1 at Jones Beach and 8/2 at PNC Bank Arts Center (where you can still tailgate). Tickets for those shows are still available.
