September 25-29 at Brooklyn DIY venue Silent Barn is Fall Fundraiser Week, “a weeklong fundraiser to benefit The Silent Barn’s programs featuring friends of the space, special guests and secret headliners.” They’ve announced most of the lineups, which are all pretty great.

September 25 is post-punks Pill and GDFX (aka Greg Fox of Liturgy). September 26 is Shamir, gobbinjr, Zenizen and Hypoluxo (tickets). September 27 has Dump Him, a solo set from Worriers, Harkin (aka Katie Harkin who is a touring member of Sleater-Kinney, Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett’s band, and more), and Espejos (tickets), and there’s also a Silent Barn Public Meeting that day. The September 28 lineup is still TBA, and the September 29 lineup has a secret headliner called “St*rbucks Ombre,” and perhaps it’s worth noting that the event photo (above) is Speedy Ortiz with Starbucks cups pasted over their faces. The rest of the 9/29 lineup is solid too, with Xenia Rubinos, Emily Reo, Vexxed (a member of Speedy Ortiz singer Sadie Dupuis’ solo band, Sad13), and Anna Altman (tickets).

UPDATE: Silent Barn tweeted a clue about who’s playing the Thursday show:

Hmmm, could it be Snail Mail?

All shows are all-ages, and there’s an $8-20 suggested donation at the door, or you can buy a $50 pass to all shows. “All door and bar proceeds will benefit the Barn, after artist and staff fees.”

That Speedy Ortiz show most likely can’t be announced because Speedy’s tour with Tera Melos hits the soon-to-be-reopened Market Hotel on 11/2 (tickets).

Speaking of Shamir, he’s releasing his new album Revelations on November 3 via Father/Daughter, and he’s saying it’s more of an “outsider” album than the poppy music he broke through with. You can hear the lo-fi-ish single “90s Kids” below, along with music by some other bands playing Silent Barn’s Fall Fundraiser Week.
