"It's going to be lit," Lee told The Wrap.

The film is also being screened in theaters to celebrate the occasion, as Deadline reports, complete with 4K restoration. In addition, select theaters in NYC, LA, Chicago, Austin, and Brookline MA will screen a 35mm edition. you can also see that 4K restoration as part of Criterion Collection's upcoming 2-disc Blu-ray/DVD set that's out July 23 (two days after the film's actual 30th anniversary).

Spike Lee is set to appear at OZY Fest in Central Park next month.
