NPR's A Prairie Home Companion will return to NYC in December to tape episodes at Town Hall. On December 2 it's Spoon (who play two sold-out Brooklyn Steel shows right before this) with Cécile McLorin Salvant and host Chris Thile. Tickets are on sale.

Then on December 9 at Town Hall, Thile will welcome Bon Iver, Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn (tickets)

Then on December 16 at Town Hall, APHC features Jeff Tweedy, The Staves & yMusic, Punch Brothers, and Tom Papa (tickets). That's the day after Jeff plays WFUV's annual Holiday Cheer benefit at Beacon Theatre (12/15) with Aimee Mann, Randy Newman and Lo Moon (tickets).

This Saturday (11/4), A Prairie Home Companion is in San Diego with Thile's band Nickel Creek, plus Fantastic Negrito, Maria Bamford, and duet partner Madison Cunningham. The show airs on NPR, SiriusXM and online live on Saturdays from 6-8 PM Eastern.
