Squarepusher announces new LP & tour (listen to "Vortrack")

Electronic music great Squarepusher will release Be Up A Hello, his first album in five years, on January 31 via Warp. For this record, Tom Jenkinson has returned to the vintage analogue gear he made early Squarepusher records on, and his equipment this time even included a Commodore Vic20. The first single is the hammering “Vortrack” which will be released as a 12″ single on December 6. You can listen to that, along with a terrific Fracture remix that’s on the b-side, below.

Squarepusher will be on tour in 2020, including North American dates in April, including Boston, NYC, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Denver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The NYC show happens at Brooklyn Steel on 4/11 and tickets go on sale Friday, November 22 at 10 AM with an AmEx presale on Thursday (11/21) at 10 AM.
