UK pop greats Squeeze are currently on a rare full-band North American tour, giving fans a chance to hear the group's many classics as they remember them. Playing four NYC area shows, they hit Port Chester's Capitol Theatre on Saturday, October 15. Things kicked off with 1987 hit "Hourglass" and from there is was a parade of Chris Difford/Glenn Tilbrook gems, including "Another Nail in My Heart," "Up the Junction," "Cool for Cats," "Tempted," "Black Coffee in Bed" and "Pulling Mussels from the Shell." Difford and Tilbrook (the only original members at this point) are charmers, too, with lots of banter.

The night was opened by another '80s UK group, The English Beat, though these days only frontman Dave Wakeling (still wielding that teardrop Vox) remains of the original lineup. Kicking things off by paying tribute to the late Prince Buster with their cover of "Rough Rider," they also played the hits, including "Save It for Later," "Mirror in the Bathroom," "Tears of a Clown" and more, plus "Tenderness" by Wakeling's other band, General Public.

Setlists for Squeeze and The English Beat are below and pictures from the whole show are in the gallery above. Both bands play Capitol Theatre again tonight (10/19), which is sold out.
