If you haven’t heard of St Vincent, then you probably don’t read Gorilla Vs. Bear (or listen to his Sirius radio show). St Vincent is the solo project of Polyphonic Spree member Annie Clark, and she sings beautiful songs beautifully like the one linked above (more at her MySpace too).

I missed her last time she came to NYC. Hopefully I won’t make the same mistake again when she’s here in NYC TWICE this month – October 9th (TONIGHT) and October 23rd – both @ Pianos — both with “strings and horns and drums”. And she won’t be back for CMJ because she’ll be too busy touring Europe with Sufjan Stevens and his wings. All tour dates below…
