Stagecoach 2017 Sunday photos (Los Lobos, Cowboy Junkies, Kiefer Sutherland, more)

Five best singalong moments: 1. Willie Nelson’s “Mama’s Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys”; 2. Shania’s “Still the One”; 3. Tommy James & The Shondells’ “Crimson and Clover”; 4. Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s”; 5. Los Lobos’ “La Bamba.”

Guys, Keifer Sutherland can sing. This is not a Bruce Willis, Dan Aykroyd, John Goodman situation, where an actor wishes they were a musician. Sutherland is a musician.

A lot of sounds filter into the media tent at Stagecoach, the strangest coming from The Hillbenders present The Who’s TOMMY: A Bluegrass Opry. “See Me, Feel Me” in bluegrass form is quite listenable. (via The Desert Sun)

Stagecoach Festival, Coachella’s country sibling, wrapped up yesterday (4/30) in Indio, CA. Los Lobos (who play Clearwater Fest), Cowboy Junkies, Wynonna and The Big Noise, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Long Ryders, actor and musician Kiefer Sutherland, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, Terry Allen, The Hillbenders (who presented The Who’s Tommy in the form of a bluegrass opry) and more played on Sunday at this year’s festival. Check out pictures in the gallery above.

We have lots more pictures from Friday at Stagecoach, with Jerry Lee Lewis, The Zombies, Kurt Vile as a special guest for The Sadies; and Saturday, with Willie Nelson, Margo Price, John Doe of X, Neil Young playing harmonica, and more.
