Stars: "if you support president Trump, please stay away from our shows"

Canadian indie vets Stars are on tour now, and in the wake of the Trump administration’s policy to separate migrant children from their families, they posted: “if you support president trump, please stay away from our shows. we can’t have people who are ok with child abuse at our shows. so please. you can have your opinions. but stay away from our shows. seriously. thanks.”

Stars are just one of many artists using their social media platforms to express their disgust towards Trump’s policy as well as to suggest places to donate, including Ezra Furman, The New Pornographers’ Carl Newman, Tegan & Sara, Best Coast, Julien Baker, Hop Along, and many more.
