Steely Dan are in NYC right now, two shows into their five-night 2019 Beacon Theatre residency. As they usually do for these Beacon runs, each night has its own theme, usually an album in full, followed by another set of hits. Tuesday's kickoff was their 1978 uberwork Aja, while Wednesday night was 1976's The Royal Scam. At both nights, fans got an extra treat in addition to the smooth, jazzy Dan jams: as Jambase points out, Donald Fagen and the rest of the band welcomed David Crosby to the stage, first to perform the Crosby Stills & Nash/Jefferson Airplane classic "Wooden Ships" and then again during the encore to play on Steely Dan classic "Reelin' in the Years." You can watch video of that from both shows, and check out the full setlists, below.

The band are taking tonight off but will play a set of "Popular Demand" favorites on Friday (10/18), Donald Fagen's solo album The Nightfly on Saturday (10/19), and will wrap things up with a "Greatest Hits" night on Tuesday (10/22). (Monday's Gaucho show got canceled.) Tickets are still available.
