Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen announces solo tour
Steely Dan frontman Donald Fagen will be going on a solo tour in late summer with his new backing band The Nightflyers. If you've been wanting to hear "New Frontier" live (and other Fagen solo faves), now looks to be your time, and he'll be doing some Dan songs as well. Dates kick off with two shows at Port Chester's Capitol Theatre on August 4 & 5. Tickets for the Cap shows are currently on AmEx presale and go on sale to the general public Friday, April 28 at noon.
The Nighflyers, if you're wondering, are Connor Kennedy (guitar, vocals), Lee Falco (drums, vocals), Brandon Morrison (bass, vocals) and Will Bryant (keyboards, vocals), and they "have been performing together in haunts, joints, dives, and even a few reputable establishments, up and down New York’s Hudson River Valley and beyond."
