Stella Donnelly signed to Secretly Canadian, re-releasing EP & touring

Australian singer-songwriter Stella Donnelly has been rising on the strength of her debut 2017 EP, Thrush Metal, and well-received live shows. She’s now signed to Secretly Canadian, who are re-releasing Thrush Metal as a 12″ with a new bonus track, “Talking.” The 12″ is out June 22 but available to stream now, which you can do below.

Stella has also shared a new video for “Mechanical Bull,” which finds her drawing on her experience working in customer-facing positions. “‘Mechanical Bull’ is dedicated to people who work in hospitality who have to deal with customers, especially drunk ones, harassing them and making objectifying comments,” she writes. “I wrote this about my experience working in bars and it was a nice way to release some of the frustration I had!” Watch the video below.

Stella embarks on her first US tour soon, including SXSW and an NYC show at Elsewhere Zone One on March 19 (tickets). See all of her upcoming tour dates below.
