Steve Gunn on tour: West Coast w/ Heron Oblivion; Brooklyn w/ Julie Byrne & more
Steve Gunn, who released the terrific Eyes on the Lines last year, just wrapped up a short tour of New Zealand and, now back in the U.S., will be hitting the West Coast next week for dates with Heron Oblivion and James Elkington (and a few with Mary Lattimore), including a free show at The Getty in Los Angeles on 7/29. He’ll be making his way north to play Pickathon where he’ll do four sets in two days.
After the West Coast dates, Steve has a few East Coast shows on tap, including Brooklyn’s new Murmrr Theatre on September 16 with Julie Byrne and Myriam Gendron, which sounds like a great show. Tickets for the Murmrr show are on sale now.
Steve will play a free show in his hometown of Philadelphia as part of the Twilight Music Fest series on August 20 which is with Dinosaur Jr’s J Mascis and James Elkington. All dates are listed below.
