It's really no surprise that Netflix's word-of-mouth hit Stranger Things would get picked up for a second season, but official word just came this morning. Season 2 will take place in the fall of 1984 (aka a year later) with the same characters from the first season. They released a teaser trailer which includes episode titles like "The Boy Who Came Back to Life" and "The Pumpkin Patch." So we can look forward to more mysteries, more upside down, more eerie synthesizer music from the guys in S U R V I V E and, hopefully somehow, more Barb. Stranger Things Season 2 will debut in 2017.
