CH3

Califormia punk vets CH3 (aka Channel 3) have been around since the early ’80s, and their 1982 debut album Fear of Life ranks among some of the more popular Cali punk of that era. They’ve kept at it as a live band, having played When We Were Young earlier this year (with their old Posh Boy Records labelmates Agent Orange and fellow Cali punk vets Descendents, who they also played with back in the day), but it’s been a while since they’ve put out a new album. That will change this Friday (8/18) when they release Put ‘Em Up on TKO Records (pre-order). The new album is right up the alley of their classic material. If you already dig CH3 or any of their peers, there’s a good chance you’re gonna dig this too. Listen below.

CH3 are playing San Bernardino, CA’s It’s Not Dead Fest this month with Rancid, Buzzcocks, OFF!, and many more, and they’re playing some club shows after that. They’ll be at Brooklyn’s Goldsounds on November 11 (tickets TBA). All dates are listed below.
