stream Earl Sweatshirt's new project 'Feet of Clay'

As promised just twelve hours ago, Earl Sweatshirt‘s new seven-song project Feet of Clay is out now via Warner/Tan Cressida. Earl handled most of the production himself, and there’s additional production from Alchemist and Ovrkast, plus guest appearances from Mach-Hommy and Mavi. On first listen, it sounds like Earl is continuing to explore the psychedelic production of last year’s Some Rap Songs, but bringing back some of the dead-eyed raps of his earlier material. It’s like a culmination of everything he’s done up until this point, but also not quite like anything he’s done before, and it’s clearly very good. Also of note, Earl shouts out the late Ras G on “El Toro Combo Meal.” Stream the whole thing below.

Earl is also releasing a video for “East” later today — stay tuned for that (update: out now). Next weekend, he’ll perform at Tyler the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in LA.
