Girls Names‘ new album, Arms Around a Vision, is out today (10/2) via Tough Love. The record is a big leap for the Irish band who are still drawing from post-punk influences but really make it their own here. It’s snarling, bleak but also tuneful, with inventive arrangements and a big beating heart. It’s one of my favorite records of the year (to date) and perfect listening for a chilly, rainy day like the one we’re currently having in NYC. You can stream the whole album below.
