Talented young blues artist J.S. Ondara is on tour now opening for former Fleetwood Mac member Lindsey Buckingham (we just caught them in NYC) and he's gearing up to release his debut album Tales of America on February 15 via Verve Forecast (pre-order). Lead single "American Dream" already made the album look very promising, and new single "Saying Goodbye" is even more proof that this is gonna be one worth hearing. Like "American Dream," "Saying Goodbye" has an old soul and it sounds like it could've been written half a century ago, but it also sounds bright, fresh, and modern. And Ondara's soaring, angelic voice really puts it over the top. The song and its self-directed video premiere below.

As mentioned, the album was produced by the Candy Butchers’ Mike Viola (who’s worked with Ryan Adams, Jenny Lewis, and others), and it features Andrew Bird, Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith of Dawes, and Joey Ryan of The Milk Carton Kids.

J.S. Ondara and Lindsey Buckingham have a few other dates together, including NJ tonight (12/7) and Westchester, NY on Saturday (12/8). All are listed below.
