Land of Talk Life After Youth

stream Land of Talk's first album in 7 years, 'Life After Youth'

Land of Talk‘s anticipated new album Life After Youth, their first in seven years, finally comes out next week (5/19) via Saddle Creek and now the whole thing is streaming. You’ve already heard “Inner Lover,” “This Time” (ft. Sharon Van Etten), “Loving,” and “Heartcore,” and if you liked those songs, you should definitely hear the whole thing. In addition to appearances by Sharon Van Etten, the album also features Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, Sal Maida (Roxy Music/Sparks), and Besnard Lakes members Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas. Jace (who’s also sometimes a member of Land of Talk) co-produced and co-mixed the album with Sonic Youth/Dinosaur Jr producer John Agnello. Stream the album at NPR.
