Mountain Man's anticipated first album in eight years, Magic Ship, comes out next week (9/21) via Nonesuch, and the whole thing is now streaming. As the singles hinted, there's some a cappella stuff, some folky stuff, and the whole thing is worth hearing.

You can STREAM THE ALBUM AT NPR.

Mountain Man are also touring, including a free record release show/signing at Rough Trade NYC on September 24. They also have a larger NYC show on October 25 at Music Hall of Williamsburg with The Dead Tongues (tickets). All dates are listed below.

Mountain Man's Amelia Meath also has upcoming dates with her band Sylvan Esso. Alexandra Sauser-Monnig's ASM project has dates too.
