Peace'd Out Feelings Blade

stream Peace'd Out's (Movielife, RX Bandits, Velvet Teen) long-awaited debut LP

Vinnie Caruana has been very prolific lately. The last few months have seen him release a somber solo EP and the debut EP by his new youth crew-style band Constant Elevation (with Sammy Siegler), and now he also released the long-awaited debut full-length by his screamy supergroup Peace’d Out, Feelings Blade, which comes eight years after their debut EP.

The band also features RX Bandits’ Steve Choi on guitar, The Velvet Teen’s Casey Deitz on drums, and No Motiv’s Roger Camero on bass, and every member brought their A game to this LP. It’s the heaviest thing Vinnie has done yet, and his screams are matched in intensity by Steve’s tech-y, proggy post-hardcore riffage, all while Casey backs it up with the same kind of complex drumming he brings to The Velvet Teen and Roger holds down the thunderous low end. It’s a very cool LP and you can stream the whole thing below.

Vinnie also recently made us an isolation playlist, and as of now, The Movielife’s upcoming Northeast mini-tour was rescheduled for October and I Am the Avalanche’s Brooklyn show was rescheduled for September. Fingers crossed.
