The Mantles

The Mantles‘ new album, All Odds End, is out next week (10/16) on Slumberland. Produced by Papercuts’ Jason Quever, it’s still indie pop inspired by ’60s paisley jangle and shambolic ’80s-era groups like Television Personalities, but it’s just a little more polished than usual. Not enough to buff away their scrappy charm, but definitely showered and shaved. It’s also a strong batch of songs, some of their most memorable hooks and melodies yet. Definitely worth a spin and you can listen to the whole thing right now, below.

The band’s only show at the moment is a record release show on October 17 at White Horse in Oakland, CA. Flyer for that show is below.
