stream UK act Trust Fund's new album 'We have always lived in The Harolds'

Trust-Fund
Ellis Jones, Trust Fund‘s sole full-time member and songwriting force, referred to his new album We have always lived in The Harolds as a “total bummer.” While the group’s first full-length US release (previous stateside release was a split with Joanna Gruesome), out now via It Takes Time Records, does have a melancholy tint to it, it’s also a relatable, introspective piece of bedroom pop that gleams with studio polish.

The best songs on the Bristol band’s new album feature dense but understated arrangements. Standout track “Together” is an upbeat track with a chorus where Jones declares, “I want to die/ Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays/ Tuesdays and Thursdays…” So he wants to die every day of the week, but it’s all tongue-in-cheek (I hope). Listen to the song below and stream the whole album. It’s pretty excellent.
