Younghusband's new album, Dissolver, is out on Friday (10/30) via ATP. Produced by Robert Hampson of Loop, and featuring Dirty Three violinist Warren Ellis on a couple tracks, it's a lightly psychedelic record that owes some debt to early Brian Eno, VU, the C-86 scene, '90s shoegaze...and yet doesn't really sound like any of those things, specifically. Main man Euan Hinshelwood keeps things understated with melody in focus always but it's also a nice Sunday morning type record you can drift along with. Dissolver's a real grower and you can stream the whole thing, via NME, below.
