Street Sects

Street Sects releasing new 7", 'Things Will Be Better In Hell' (stream it)

Austin industrial punks Street Sects are following their very good 2016 debut LP End Position and last year’s Rat Jacket EP with a new 7″, Things Will Be Better In Hell, next week (2/9) via Artoffact Records (pre-order). It’s got two songs, the title track and “Bite Down Hard,” both of which pick up where Rat Jacket left off, with harsh, aggressive synths and screams crossing paths with a true knack for pop songwriting. We’ve got the premiere of the 7″ below.

Street Sects were supposed to play a Brooklyn show on February 18 at Saint Vitus with Uniform (now a trio with Greg Fox on drums), Lingua Ignota and Anatomy, but they had to drop off the show and a replacement will be announced soon. Tickets for that show (without Street Sects) are available.

UPDATE: Street Sects are instead touring with 3TEETH and Ho99o9.
