While melodic hardcore greats Strike Anywhere aren't very active in the studio these days, they do still play shows. They were recently announced for The Fest, but before that, they'll go on a short tour with A Global Threat to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2006 tour together. Strike Anywhere writes:

Back in late 2005 we first met A Global Threat. Some of us were fans of their band, and vice versa. We had some mutual friends in F-Minus and The Unseen and we decided to invite them out for a little east coast weekend run. We became fast friends and decided to take them on our next tour as well... and the tour after that... and the tour after that. In 2006 I don't think Strike Anywhere played a single show in the US without A Global Threat. There were plenty of fun shows, late nights and hazy mornings. Over the years both of our bands became pretty inactive,... AGT may have even broken up at one point... but we all remained good friends and despite how scattered across the country everyone became we always made it a point to hang out whenever and wherever possible. Fortunately, both bands found a little chunk of time this year to come together, play some shows, and enjoy some good times again. For the love of punk.. and for the love of each other... let's do this one more time... 10 years later!

They also add that "an amazing support band is confirmed for these shows, and will be announced at a later date."

The tour hits NYC on October 8 at Saint Vitus with Strike Anywhere headlining and October 9 at Saint Vitus with A Global Threat headlining. Tickets for night 1 and night 2 go on sale Friday (5/20) at noon. All dates are listed below.
