Sun Kil Moon announces shows with Jesu ++ more Kozelek releases lined up (dates, song streams)

Sun Kil Moon (Mark Kozelek) and Jesu (Justin Broadrick) recently released “America’s Most Wanted Mark Kozelek & John Dillinger” off their upcoming collaborative album, and now they’ve announced some shows together. Their only dates revealed so far happen in winter of 2016 in Tokyo and Brooklyn.
The Brooklyn show is February 26 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets go on sale Friday (10/16) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (10/14) at noon.
Mark Kozelek just played a Sun Kil Moon show at NYC’s Town Hall on Friday (10/9), and he has other dates (solo and SKM) coming up too. All of those are listed below.
Also, in addition to SKM’s 2015 album Universal Themes and the upcoming Jesu collab, Mark has a collaborative spoken word album with Nicolás Pauls coming out October 27 via his own Caldo Verde Records (pre-order). And on top of that, all Caldo Verde purchases are now coming with a copy of Mark Kozelek’s new solo EP, Down In The Willow Garden. It features an original song, a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Sick Again,” and two versions of the traditional Appalachian murder ballad “Down In The Willow Garden.” You can listen to one of those versions and the Zeppelin cover (via Stereogum) below.
