Super Unison (ex-Punch) announce debut LP, 'Auto,' streaming "Time & Distance"

Earlier this year, ex-Punch vocalist Meghan O’Neil’s current band Super Unison signed to Deathwish for their debut album, which has now been announced. It’s called Auto and it’ll be out on October 14. The first single is “Time & Distance,” which is making this album seem very promising. On their great debut EP, they were making frantic, compelling hardcore, but “Time & Distance” has them getting just a little prettier sounding. It’s still a heavy, intense song, but Meghan sounds a bit more melodic, and the guitars are very melodic. The chord changes are often more similar to post-rock than hardcore, and there’s a noodly riff that comes in a few times that you might find yourself humming along to right away.
