Superchunk ready ‘I Hate Music’ and going on tour, including two nights at Bowery Ballroom (dates)

With 2010's terrific comeback album, Magesty Shredding still ringning in some of our ears, Superchunk have just announced its follow-up. I Hate Music is their 10th full-length and will be out August 20. You can watch a trailer below for the record featuring snippets from a couple tracks off the LP.
Superchunk will also be on tour following the album's release, including two nights at NYC's Bowery Ballroom on September 27 & 28 with Spider Bags opening. Tickets for those shows go on AmEx presale on Wednesday (5/15) at noon with the general on-sale happening Friday (5/17).
