Swans' current lineup announces final East Coast shows

Swans had said that last year’s The Glowing Man would be their last album with their current lineup, and now this iteration of the band have announced what they’re calling their final East Coast shows. Michael Gira writes:

The final Swans tour (for this exuberant and heroic iteration of the band) is in its final stages. Of particular interest to me personally are the FINAL 3 SHOWS (AT WARSAW, IN BROOKLYN), since they take place in NYC, the womb wherein Swans was initially gestated. There will be no other East Coast shows surrounding this last stand, and this is it. Finished. I’m pleased here to announce the august and daunting artists that will accompany us on each of these three nights.

The shows happen November 2, 3 and 4 at Warsaw with Carla Bozulich on night 1, Anna Von Hasswolff on night 2, and ADULT. (whose new album features Michael Gira) on night 3. 3-day passes are on sale now and individual show tickets (same link) go on sale Friday (5/19) at 10 AM.

This iteration of Swans have also released their final live album, Deliquescence. It’s only available physically, and primarily available at the Young God webstore and at Swans shows. All copies sold at the webstore and at shows are signed by Michael Gira. A few select stores are selling (not-signed) copies. Tracklist below.
