Swedish synthpunks PAPER released 'We Design The Future' (watch the video for "American Bible")

Stockholm synthpunks PAPER offered up their third dystopian vision, We Design The Future, last fall, which features their patented slashing guitars, relentless motorik rhythms and detached, gloomy vocalizing. The band, which shares members with Les Big Byrd and other Stockholm groups, have just shared a video for that album’s “American Bible.” Directed and shot by Jacob Frössén, the video creates a rotating vision set against cardboard dioramas — a flimsy world that matches the song’s bleak outlook. The video makes its premiere in this post — watch it (and stream the album) below.

We haven’t seen PAPER on these shores in a while. Let’s hope that changes this year.
