The Philly venue has temporarily been renamed ”North Seventh,” while its new owners Bowery Presents crowdsource a new permanent name.

Earlier this year, NYC venues Bowery Ballroom and Mercury Lounge confirmed that they were parting ways with Bowery Presents (which was acquired by AEG), and we heard that Live Nation would be taking over the two Lower East Side venues. Today that news has been officially confirmed, as Bowery Ballroom/Mercury Lounge co-owner Michael Swier and Live Nation announced their new promotions and booking venture, Mercury East Presents.
