The 2016 Summer Spirit Festival happens August 6 & 7 at Merriweather Post Pavillion in Maryland with Erykah Badu and Janelle Monae headlining day one; and Jill Scott and The Roots headlining day two. Erykah Badu and Jill Scott are also both playing the soon-to-be-open Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk (separately).

Hollywood Vampires, the hard rock supergroup with Alice Cooper, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan, and Johnny Depp, who did a Lemmy tribute at the Grammys, have announced a tour. They’re playing scattered international dates, including NYC’s soon-to-be-open Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk.
