Esperanza is making the album, called Exposure, over a 77-hour period, of which will be livestreamed on Facebook. She plays Prospect Park with Andrew Bird this weekend.

Andrew’s tour also includes dates with Belle & Sebastian and The Lumineers, and he has a new “Live from the Great Room” video out with artist Theaster Gates.

This year’s free BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival shows in Prospect Park also include Youssou N’Dour, Polica, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Weyes Blood, Moses Sumney, Esperanza Spalding, Lisa Loeb, The Soul Rebels with Talib Kweli, and more.

Joining Spoon at other points on their tour: Cherry Glazerr, Tennis, White Reaper, and Twin Peaks.

They’re playing the Saturday of Panorama in NYC, sharing the bill with Tame Impala, Alt-J, Pinegrove and more. The band will release a new album later this year.

The Carnegie Hall show featured ‘Schoolhouse Rock’ songwriter Bob Dorough and you can watch video of them performing “Three is a Magic Number.”
