Rage Against the Machine were scheduled to begin their reunion tour in TX on March 26, but their dates through May 20 have now been postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic, which probably leaves guitarist Tom Morello with some extra time on his hands for playlist-making.

Just about every area of recorded music was hit by the fire, from jazz to punk to cabaret to comedy, new wave, historical speeches, metal, hip hop, you name it.

More Chris Cornell tributes poured in over the weekend, around the time of his funeral, which was attended by members of Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Jane’s Addiction, and more.

Rock on the Range paid tribute to Chris Cornell on the night Soundgarden were scheduled to headline. Other artists honored the him in their sets too, including Live and Bush.

“The Medical Examiner has completed the autopsy on 52-year-old Chris Cornell, the Soundgarden musician who died last night in Detroit. The cause of death has been determined as hanging by suicide. A full autopsy report has not yet been completed. There is no additional information at this time.”
