The self-titled album is coming out this November under the name Body/Dilloway/Head.

Independent label Three Lobed Recordings is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year with a special series of six albums from Sonic Youth, Body/Head, the Gunn-Truscinski Duo, Six Organs of Admittance, and more.

Converge bassist Nate Newton shared a huge, eclectic, genre-spanning list of his favorite albums of 2018, with punk, metal, hip-hop, and indie rock picks including War on Women, Daughters, Mazzy Star, Mitski, St. Vincent, Tomb Mold, Hot Snakes, Judas Priest, Cardi B, Deafheaven, Voivod, High On Fire, Boygenius, Author & Punisher, The Body, and more.

After revealing the release date earlier this year, Body/Head — the improvisational duo of Kim Gordon and Bill Nace — have officially announced their new album, The Switch, due on July 13 via Matador. Like with their 2013 debut, Gordon and Nace worked with engineer Justin Pizzoferrato but this is less of a rock record and more of a subtle, unsettling experience.

The lineup also includes Prince’s backing band The Revolution, Thundercat, dvsn, Liz Phair, Waxahatchee, Gang Gang Dance, Body/Head, Grouper, U.S. Girls, Haliu Mergia, and more.
