Wonders of Nature, which opened at the start of the year at the corner of Grand and Berry, has apparently closed for good.

The "Flip These Houses" protest benefit also features Nicole Atkins, Lenny Kaye, Matthew Caws (Nada Surf), Shilpa Ray, Mac McCaughan (Superchunk), Hamilton Leithauser and lots more.

The event is called "Flip These Houses" that celebrates "Protest Songs, Political Music, and Unity through Song" and the lineup also includes Hamilton Leithauser, The Wrens' Charles Bissell, Nicole Atkins, Ted Leo, Syd Straw, and many more.

They named the band Wrenses Alien, and Charles called it ”the closest I’ve come to a tour in 8 or 9 years.”

Members of The Wrens, The Dismemberment Plan, Hole, Chrome Cranks, and more came out for a very special evening.

Charles Bissell also has other shows, including one in Brooklyn this Friday (10/27).

A tribute show to Brainiac is happening in NYC, and footage will be used in the upcoming documentary on the band. The show will feature surviving members of Brainiac, plus members of Girls Against Boys (who also headline), The Dismemberment Plan, The Wrens, Hole, Les Savy Fav, Hella, Chrome Cranks, and more...

Today's NYC shows include STEVENSTEVEN (Blue's Clues, Flaming Lips), Run the Jewels, and more.
