The flames of the most popular rivalry in pop music history have been relit by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones releasing new music in the same year for the first time since 1969.

The 12-song album features two recorded with late drummer Charlie Watts, and one also with original bassist Bill Wyman.

This classic 1967 comp includes “Ruby Tuesday,“ “Let’s Spend the Night Together,“ and “Mother’s Little Helper.“ Our exclusive translucent orange vinyl pressing is limited to 500 copies.

The album is billed as ”an affectionate retrospective and a reflection of just how frequently watts was able to exercise his jazz muscles between Rolling Stones commitments to create a bespoke discography of his own.”

The book was penned by longtime Stones follower Paul Sexton and authorized by the band and Watts’s family.

Patti included covers of The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Stevie Wonder, and dedicated songs to Charlie Watts, Lee ”Scratch” Perry, and Fred ”Sonic” Smith at this big homecoming show…

Jason has ended his show with at least one Stones cover each night since Charlie passed.

The Rolling Stones are set to begin a North American tour, rescheduled from 2020, in September.

”Condolences to the Stones, this will be a huge blow to them, because Charlie was a rock, and a fantastic drummer, steady as a rock,” McCartney said.
