Superchunk, The Mountain Goats, Iron & Wine, The dB's, Hiss Golden Messenger, Don Dixon & Marti Jones, Erich Bachmann (Archers of Loaf), and more North Carolina artists have contributed cover songs to a new benefit comp that aims to help much-loved, long-running Carrboro, NC rock club Cat's Cradle through COVID-19.

Folk icon Judy Collins will release Winter Stories on November 8. She made the album with Norwegian folk artist and frequent collaborator Jonas Fjeld and bluegrass band Chatham County Line and they'll tour together too.

Long-running modern bluegrass band Chatham County Line will release ’Sharing the Covers’ which features their takes on songs by by Tom Petty, John Lennon, The Rolling Stones, Beck, Wilco and more.

One of the most eclectic lineups in the US, Hopscotch Festival in Raleigh, NC, will be back for 2013 on September 5 -7.
