You may remember that R&B/soul singer Chrisette Michele controversially canceled her NJ show so she could sing at one of Donald Trump's inauguration balls. At the time she defended it saying, "I hope that Great Moments begin in peaceful & progressive conversation"...

It appears that Roots collaborator Chrisette Michele has agreed to play "The Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration" in DC. Questlove said: "I'd pay Chrisette to NOT perform."
