Run The Jewels played ‘Colbert’ with saxophonist Cochemea while in town for five MSG shows with Rage Against the Machine, and while Rage will finish out these shows, they’ve had to cancel their Europe/UK run – doctor’s orders.

This year’s SummerStage season runs through October, and this weekend they’re hosting two great free shows at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield.

Run The Jewels gave their new album a surprise early release in the midst of nationwide protests against police brutality, helping to raise tens of thousands of dollars for injustice-fighting organizations and giving a voice to the unheard in the process.

”Fuck it, why wait,” the duo wrote. ”The world is infested with bullshit so here’s something raw to listen to while you deal with it all. We hope it brings you some joy.”
