San Pedro Garza García is the home of the annual Festival NRMAL 2012, a one-day (on 3/10, but with multiple-pre, after, and post parties) multi-stage festival that features a whopping 55 bands across thress stages from noon until 2AM...

My final day at Fun Fun Fun Fest 2011 ran the gamut from 90s-indie-worshippers Lemuria to the poppy-hardcore of Kid Dynamite, the Prince-clad hardcore of Ceremony to the glitchy dance of Flying Lotus, and the operatic/enigmatic Austra to the great Slayer...

Happy Mischief Night!. Two garage rockin' opening bands and many fans braved the ugly weather in NYC last night (10/29) to get ugly with the Black Lips at the Halloween-themed "Hell at the Hall" extravaganza...

Chris stopped by the Secretly Canadian/Jagjaguwar/Dead Oceans CMJ showcase at Union Pool on Wednesday night, but left after catching one of Parts & Labor's last-ever shows to check out the raucous Davila 666 at Knitting Factory (you can catch them again this Saturday night opening for the Black Lips)...
