Bad Brains’ 2012 album ‘Into the Future‘ features the classic lineup of H.R., Darryl Jenifer, Dr. Know, and Earl Hudson and has been reissued with alternate artwork by Shepard Fairey (who designed the original cover) and is pressed on red, yellow and green vinyl. Get it in the BV Shop.

This quarantine-friendly edition of ‘In Defense of the Genre’ features 10 killer videos of legendary ’80s hardcore bands in their prime, along with an accompanying playlist.

It was the first time H.R., Darryl Jenifer, Dr. Know, and Earl Hudson played a Bad Brains set together in years, ahead of their upcoming official return at Riot Fest. The set also included guest lead-vocal appearances by Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe and original Bad Brains singer Sid McCray.

On May 30, Applehead Recordings & Production hosted Darryl Jenifer, Dr. Know and Earl Hudson of seminal punk/reggae legends Bad Brains for a performance and recording session for their ongoing series, Woodstock Sessions.
