The 2018 edition of Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner‘s annual Eaux Claires festival just got underway in Eau Claire, WI. The lineup was kept a secret until gates opened today and we can now see that this year includes performances from The National, Big Red Machine (aka Vernon and Dessner), Sharon Van Etten, Julien Baker, Dirty Projectors…

The new teaser includes music by Phoebe Bridgers, Anais MItchell, Sharon Van Etten, and Pussy Riot, plus possibly an alternative version of The National’s “I’ll Still Destroy You.”

The teaser has led to speculation that Low, Kevin Morby, Moses Sumney, and Pussy Riot are playing.

One of the collaborative highlights of the third edition of Eaux Claires was ‘Bon Iver Presents: John Prine and the American Songbook,’ which featured artists like Justin Vernon, Jenny Lewis, Jeff Tweedy, Mountain Man, Spank Rock, and Anais Mitchell covering Prine’s songs.
