After getting rained out in 2016 and taking 2017 off, Levitation festival returned to downtown Austin this past weekend (April 26-30) with artists across the spectrum of what gets called psych.

Plus: Broken Social Scene, Animal Collective, Deafheaven, Sleep, Priests, Let's Eat Grandma, The Dream Syndicate, Pallbearer, Many Rooms/Shortly, and more newly-announced tours.

Levitation fest returns to Austin after two years off, happening April 26 - 29 at venues all over the downtown area. The festival has been releasing official mixtapes featuring music from this year's artists. We're premiering the second of those, which was put together by Al Lover, and features Oh Sees, Electric Wizard, Ministry, The Make-Up, Bedouine, Panda Bear, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Parquet Courts, Ariel Pink, Slowdive, Suuns, OM, and lots more.

Last year, UK doom legends Electric Wizard returned with the great Wizard Bloody Wizard, and this year they're finally returning to the US.
