The 2018 edition of Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner‘s annual Eaux Claires festival just got underway in Eau Claire, WI. The lineup was kept a secret until gates opened today and we can now see that this year includes performances from The National, Big Red Machine (aka Vernon and Dessner), Sharon Van Etten, Julien Baker, Dirty Projectors...

The BrooklynVegan/Dine Alone/Buzz Records SXSW showcase included Say Anything, Trail of Dead, Special Explosion, Greys, Pkew Pkew Pkew, The Spirit of the Beehive, and more.

Day 1 has The Killers, The National, Paramore, Perfume Genius and more; day 2 has Jack White, QOTSA, Tyler the Creator, St Vincent, and more; day 3 has Eminem, Fleet Foxes, The Decemberists, and more.

The 2018 edition of Boston Calling which happens May 25-27 at Harvard Athletic Complex. Curated as always by Aaron Dessner of The National, this year is headlined by Eminem, The Killers and Jack White, and will also feature Queens of the Stone Age, Paramore, Tyler the Creator, Khalid, Fleet Foxes, St. Vincent, and more...

One of the collaborative highlights of the third edition of Eaux Claires was 'Bon Iver Presents: John Prine and the American Songbook,' which featured artists like Justin Vernon, Jenny Lewis, Jeff Tweedy, Mountain Man, Spank Rock, and Anais Mitchell covering Prine's songs.

The 2015 Newport Folk Fest happens July 24-26 at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, RI. This year's lineup isn't fully announced yet, but so far includes First Aid Kit, Laura Marling, Sturgil Simpson (who taped an episode of ACL TV last night), Courtney Barnett, Leon Bridges, Iron & Wine and Ben Bridwell, Brandi Carlile, J Mascis and more...
