There will be over 70,000 individual effects being launched and among this year's treats is a 1600-foot-long waterfall of fireworks ”burst from the span between the large towers of the Brooklyn Bridge.”
This year there are 3000 total shells and effects being set off on the 4th, with 20 brand new ones, all launched from seven barges stationed along the East River between East 23rd and East 40th St.
