Iceland Airwaves’ 2023 lineup includes Bombay Bicycle Club, Yard Act, Squid, Blondshell, Markéta Irglová, Andy Shauf, DOMi & JD BECK, Markéta Irglová, Mugison, Trentemøller, Daði Freyr, JFDR, and more

The festival, billed as “the world’s most northerly new music showcase,“ happens November 2-4 at venues all over downtown Reyjavík. Meanwhile the “A Taste of Iceland” festival hits NYC from May 10-13.

Wednesday’s NYC-area shows include Metric, Kevin Morby, Amanda Shires, Hatebreed, The Early November, Robert Glasper, Saintseneca, and more.

The inaugural New Colossus Festival, the CMJ-esque music festival and industry conference, happens this weekend (March 7-10) at East Village/LES venues Pianos, Arlene’s Grocery, The Delancey, Berlin, Coney Island Baby, and Bowery Electric.

Just-announced additions include Bedouine, Big Joanie, Bush Tetras, Cassandra Jenkins, Good Fuck (Tim Kinsella + Jenny Pulse), Jess Williamson, JS Ondara, Kamaal Williams, Molly Burch, My Brightest Diamond, Priests, and Sir Babygirl.

New Colossus happens March 7-10 at venues in the East Village and Lower East Side.

Wednesday night’s kickoff featured Cadence Weapon, Lou Phelps (Kaytranada’s little brother), Men I Trust, and more.

The 2016 edition of M for Montreal is coming up later this month (November 16 – 19) and the full lineup has been released and includes Spencer Krug’s Moonface, Baauer, Martha Wainwright, Elephant Stone, Nobunny, The Appleseed Cast, Leif Vollebekk, Tasseomancy and more.

The 2016 edition of Pop Montreal happens September 21 – 25 at venues all over the city. It’s the 15th anniversary of the festival and they’ve just announced the finalized lineup…
