The music lineup for SXSW’s 2021 virtual music festival includes A Place to Bury Strangers, Otoboke Beaver, Sorry, Braids, Squid, Holy Fuck, Purple Pilgrims, TV Priest, and more.

Alex says he used “a whole different part of my brain” for the album. “I wanted to go someplace musically that I’ve never gone before.”

Robert Ellis released ’Texas Piano Man’ back in February which, as its title suggests, finds him trading his guitar for a grand piano and working in the classic ’70s singer-songwriter motif while retaining that Texas style.

The 2019 edition of Austin’s ACL Festival happens October 4-6 and October 11-13 at Zilker Park and many of the artists performing will also play official ACL Late Night club shows while in town, including shows in between the weekends.
